Reblog: STOP CHILD ABUSE!

From Stop Child Abuse by MizzBlondiiee:

DO NOT ABUSE YOUR KIDS!
DO NOT HIT THEM IN THE HEAD!

…I didn’t know but a person can be awake and still lose consciousness. They do not have to be fully knocked out to suffer a traumatic brain injury. Children or Adults do not actually have to be physically smacked in the head to have a traumatic brain injury. Whiplash alone and shaken baby syndrome are examples of this. Cognitive injuries often occur and can make a persons ability to enjoy life, live a normal life, and even impair the to ever work or earn a living again. If someone is injured once in their head, they are three times more likely to suffer a second and eight times more likely to have a third brain injury.

…ONE simple smack in the head in just the right way or right strength can simply cause eye damage around the eye muscles. Or cause the child to lose sense of hearing or even suffer memory and cognitive learning loss.
